Lenses?

Today I went to pmall with manalo. Good thing I only brought $50 or else I would have spent all my money. I bought my neighbour totoro, arietty, fresh grey contact lenses and a wall charger for my ipod. I'm too scared to try on my contacts and I don't even know if my parents would let me wear them.

Post christmas

Nothing to do right now, although I should do my laundry... so far this week has been my lazy week. I need to go out tomorrow.

Snow

This morning I was in a good mood, I think it was the snow, so I made rainbow cupcakes. I need to learn how to bake more things. -__- I decided to walk to the grocery store to buy some icing. The weather was amazing but unfortunately the boots I was wearing were scraping my feet resulting in a very painful walk to the grocery store. I bought the icing and some band aids forcing me to pay for more than I had planned to. On the bright side, the icing was on sale and I got a really shiny loony from my change.

Officially done christmas shopping

Spent $120 in two days... I am excited to give the presents I bought. :3
Today I biked to school to go to 3rd and to hand in my cpt. Then we went to a photo shoot thing, long process and I found it kinda awkward cause of the way she made us pose. Then we ate at allstars and did some last minute shopping. Woo!

First Battle

Today was an awesome and fun day, even though I didn't make the top 16. This battle gave me a lot of experience and i'm glad I signed up. At least now I know where I can improve on. Joined in ciphers a couple times so hopefully i'll be able to cipher more at sessions!

Prep day

Yesterday went to session and actually went in ciphers for today's battle. I hope I do well!

Trust fall

Today was a pretty chill session. First Jennie, Jazmine, Jenna and I went shopping and got matching pairs of shoes at h&m for $5. Also got the sister a Christmas present hehe. At class we learned about dimensions and some footwork techs. Then we foolin around at session, Nafeu trust falling on everyone lol yeah pretty much it.

This anime was just too good.

Loaft week

Had no homework all week. Today's pa day so i'm gonna go to yd pretty soon. Wednesday I volunteered at a homeless shelter with chaplaincy, good experience and did some good deeds. I felt more than happy to be there helping them. They're food was surprisingly pretty good. Especially the shrimp. Wednesday was also my last day at Fun Club. I sure will miss them. Yesterday was a civies which was our "reward" for raising a lot of money for terry fox. Yeep, pretty much my week.

Just noticing

I'm actually involved in a lot of things right now. Hmm let's see... so there's dance, band, choir, rock climbing and tennis season is over. I'm probably gonna join badminton, table tennis and ultimate this year too, trying to make use of the sports fee this year!! Outside of school I have the church choir and volunteer. Poop, what have I gotten myself into.

Hate this feeling

What time is it? ... ADVENTURE TIME!

Yes I was Finn for Halloween. Unfortunately no one knew who I was at school, except for 7 or 8 people. (minus the friends I have introduced it to) Well I'm proud my hat turned out pretty well thanks to my mother. Too bad I didn't have time to make the sword or the bag. ):

So... this week was the first week sleeping in my own room. Bought some furniture at ikea today although we did waste a lot of time at this place my mom recommended, it was so far too. D; Can't wait till everything is done!!!

P.S. Still gotta make my halloween costume, and I only have one day. Poo.

Rainbow cupacakes

WOO SUCCESS. Made some delicious & colourful cupcakes with Jennie, Jazmine and Jenna yesterday. Definitely gonna try and make them again. Later we ended up watching The Human Centipede. Ugh... disturbing.

I can do a pretty solid head stand now, woohoo. I actually feel really good when people say I did well or improved when it comes to breaking. c: hehe but I feel that i'm making breaking a higher priority than my art right now... I better have time to draw this weekend.

Lost 1:8

The weather was pretty crap but it was still pretty fun. I'm proud of my partner since she tried her best although it was all jokes. Everyone did pretty good, I think we have a pretty solid junior team. Anyways it was freezing today but I feel that I've gotten a lot better from last year. Hopefully next year i'll make it to the second round even though there will be more people trying out next year. Man I wish tennis season lasted longer D;

Work out challenge.

I've decided to stretch, do sit ups and push ups at least once a day. Today I did 50 sit ups, 10 normal push ups and 20 modified push ups. (I can't do push ups for shit lol) I'm just doing this to strengthen my upper body because I am terribly weak. My arms hurt as I am typing this. LOL I hope this lasts...

First time at fear fest, I actually wasn't as scared as I thought I would be lol Good first experience, fun and tiring night hehe ^^

This week has felt so lonely... no one is home like they used to be. I actually really miss my sisters being home when I get home.

Back to the place twelve years ago

So we visited our old house in Toronto today since we were in the area. At first we just wanted to say hi to our old neighbour to see how she was doing. Turns out she’s 88 and still strong living by herself. She somewhat reminds me of my grandma. :’) My sisters and I were curious how our house looked like inside so we rang the doorbell. They let us in and the father gave us a tour of the house. They were so kind and took care of the house well. They changed it up a bit but as we walked inside, it recalled those small memories I had there since I was only three when we moved. To be honest it made me kinda watery eyed and made me wish I had still lived there. The neighbourhood was just so much more friendlier than it is here and it was so easy to get around. It was just so weird being there again, because it seemed so different from when I was three and it felt as if we never left

Fun club

Second week (or should I say day) volunteering at the community centre. I think i'm kinda getting the hang of it now, I was so awkward the first day, still gotta learn some names. >:D

Wah haven't posted in a while

So it's been about 2 weeks since school... I guess things are getting better. At least now mother is allowing me to go to bboy session every friday. Woo! Although... I couldn't go to WOD today. When will I ever see I am me. Ohwells, just trying to clean at least, can't be upset by it forever right? :D Hopefully we get to go to ikea soon so I can move in this room already.

Grade 10

So... the first two days of school past. Gotta admit, kinda sucks already. Who knew that I would miss grade 9? I guess I'll get used to it. At least I got people to talk to in each class and at lunch. And now the school's so packed, I can't breathe.D: Never knew grade 9's were so annoying, I guess we were like that too. Haha... hopefully it'll get better over time... hopefully.

To sum up my summer...

Biking, 1.00 iced coffees, pho, breakdancing, asian dramas, tumblr, anime, thrift shopping, junk food, numerous attempts to exercise lol, beach, pmall, dundas, animal crossing, cleaning, sleeping.

This summer was alright... it's just that I don't see it ending yet. Poo.

Value and cleanin' up

Yaay for thrift shopping and half off sales. Managed to get everything for $21. Well the basket wasn’t half off so it was $10, but I had to get it anyway cause it’s coo.

 

Also cleaned up the room cause I felt like it. I even did the polaroid thing I've been wanting to do for the "new room."

I counted my pennies and I have $2.50 so far. I will save up until I get 1000 pennies. Mwahahaha.

Because i'm not the girl guys would "like"

I'm not all too concerned about being in a relationship right now... even though I tend to get jealous of cute couples. But for once, it would be nice if someone confessed to me or something even if it is a small "like." Obviously I''m not looking for love... I'm way to young. lol But this is just something I think about in the back of my mind. To be honest, I like the way things are right now.

Spent yesterday at Pacific Mall with Jennie, Jazmine and the breakdance crew for Julia's birthday. To sum it up, pho, photobooth pictures, walking... a lot and chasing pennies.

Sweeny Todd

Watched Sweeny Todd again today with Jennie and my sister. Can't get enough of it, I have to watch it at least once a year. Also went to the mall... for an hour and walked home. Yay! Second time walking home from mills, I feel accomplished this summer. lol

Been home on the computer the whole day lol I feel bad, I'm using up so much GB for the internet this summer.

Strawberries

Had a great chilled night filled with strawberries, yarn, rooftops and discussions about first world problems expressed through performing art. It’s kinda nice to be welcomed by the older audience once in a while.
